First, I would like to say that the diving lately has been great! The mild winter is making for perfect days in the ocean. Reports from Monday's Banditos Charter were glowing, and I think there's a spot or two left on the trip on the 28th if you want to see for yourself. Yesterday we did a last minute night dive at alki cove 2. At about 95 feet we saw something huge buzz us. I thought it was the elusive 6 gill shark. It turned out to be a harbor seal and it played with us all the way though our safety stop. We also saw a big rat fish. Any way who wants to get wet this weekend? As Chuck mentioned in a previous post, next weekend, April 24 - 26, is the Northwest Dive and Travel Expo at the Tacoma Convention Center. This will be this month's Bench Dive. Last weekend my wife Christina and I got our Deep Diver Specialty while aboard the Naknek out of Friday Harbor. The course, taught by Instructor Charlynn Sutton, was spectacular. I just got home from a great day of diving. 9 of us went to the tire reef today.  Myself, the Hoyts, McNett girls, Trevor and Lindsey, Carrie Anne and Rebecca.  We had  good vis. about 30 feet and saw so many different fish I couldn't keep track. Awesome showing for the third annual UWPCC at Rosario Beach. What a great time we had, along with beautiful weather.
